This problem has been happening when I have had no third party content installed and had performed multiple clean installs, cleared cache, verified files etc. And Doncaster Works just had a couple of fuel pumps and relay boxes. Upon opening the routes "Woodhead Electric Railway in Blue" and "Doncaster Works" in the map editor I found that the Woodhead route had Nothing, It was an empty map. Portsmouth Direct Line - London Waterloo to PortsmouthĪll just show me that background picture like I described before. *I have not tested any US or German Routes*
I have tested all of my UK routes in Career mode and found that I'm getting around 2000fps on that screen and task manager isn't saying that the program is 'Not Responding' When the HUD goes I'm left with the standard background picture of the three trains, I was thinking that maybe it's just loading before giving me the actual loading screen and bar, but after leaving it for 20mins it still hadn't done anything. When I try to load a route, for example the Liverpool - Manchester route, all of the HUD disappears except the three buttons in the top right, which I can click on, and they take me to their menus. Certain routes won't load, it doesn't matter if I try to load them in Quick drive, career or scenario mode. I've been having this problem for along time now, and after looking around for a few weeks, I can't seem to find a thread describing the same thing that I have.
